Blindness

If you want to see you first have to close your eyes. I’ve always wondered if I’d be a better person–ethically, morally, psychologically–if I didn’t have my sight; it’s through sight that I judge people and events superficially, and only when I consciously contemplate these things when I gain a better apprehension of what they mean or signify.

Plato was right after all.
